EngNet Newsletter - May 2012

INTRODUCTION

Can you believe that we are almost half way through the year? It has been a relatively warm winter so far in Gauteng with the Winter Solstice less than 20 days away!

YOUR ENGNET LISTING

The biggest news relating to online in the past two weeks has to be the listing of Facebook. There has been a lot of hype around its IPO and is it really worth it. Time will tell. Incredible to think that they have almost a billion registered users.

Ten years ago we had to convince people why they should be online. Today it is not a question about being online, but where and how and at what cost. We now demand (a good South African word) accurate statistics to evaluate every rand we spend online and make informed decisions. A far cry from what was and is available in traditional media.

If we have learnt anything over the years it is this: accurate information results in a relevant result. We encourage you to check your information on EngNet on a regular basis to ensure that it is current and accurate. Clients that take an active interest in their EngNet product normally perform at a much higher level. If you do not know how to log in and edit your package, please contact us and we will take you through it.
